Emily Fahlstedt

I have been in marketing for 17 years, managing websites, buying media and measuring the results. I graduated from Colorado State University with a Marketing Degree and Computer Information Systems minor. My professional passion is ecommerce and reaching audiences through marketing tech. I have two kids, Ryan and Taylor and enjoy golf and reading.

I came Colorado in mid-2022 to join the Schomp Marketing team. I was born and raised on the East Coast. I moved to Texas for college where I received a degree in Finance from the University of Texas. I have spent my career in the automotive business. I come from a family of sailors and shipwrights and when I am not at work, I enjoy sailing (I’m still trying to figure that one out in Denver). I have sailed from Canada down the US East Coast and all through the West Indies as far as Grenada.

I’m a multidisciplinary designer with 20+ years of experience, including 13 years in the automotive industry and 11 years at Schomp. I got my start in my hometown of Bangor at Darling’s Auto Group, and have since worked across 20+ automotive brands in high-volume, multi-brand environments. I graduated from the University of Maine with a degree in New Media and a minor in Film and Video.

I specialize in brand identity, email design and development, digital campaigns, direct mail, and web design, working from concept through execution.

Outside of work, I’m into Boston sports, a good movie, hiking, running, and lately cycling has been taking over.

I was born and raised on a farm outside of Hays Kansas, and graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in Mass Communications with an outside concentration in Art. I’ve lived in Colorado since 2000 and currently reside in Denver. I’m a huge car enthusiast and love motorcycles too.

I grew up in Littleton, CO and currently reside in South Denver. After attending Colorado State University for my first year of undergrad, I ultimately finished my degree at the University of Colorado Denver, graduating with a B.F.A. in Film & Television. I have been a part of the Schomp team for over two years, initially starting as an inventory photographer. I have a deep passion for the outdoors, music, and all things photography/videography related. In my spare time, you can find me catching up on the latest movies and TV or “roughin’ it” in the backcountry.

I was born and raised in Aurora, CO and I received my Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications from Colorado Mesa University in 2017. I picked up my first camera while at Mesa and became obsessed with photography which opened a lot of doors for me. When I’m not photographing cars, you can find me photographing wildlife and landscapes in the Rocky Mountains or covering newsworthy events.

I was born and raised in Houston, Texas, and earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin, where I was also a member of the volleyball team. I moved to Denver in 2021 to pursue my master’s degree in Media and Public Communication at the University of Denver. I enjoy going to concerts and spending time with my dog Pixie.

Originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota, I’ve called several places home before settling in Denver, where I currently reside. I earned my degree in Journalism and Media Studies from Colorado State University in 2023. When I’m not at work, you’ll likely find me skiing, camping with my pup Charlie, or traveling in search of new foods and meeting new people. Photography has been a passion of mine since childhood, and I now focus on portrait photography while building my freelance portfolio in my free time. I began my career at Schomp in the Honda Service Department before transitioning to my current role in the Marketing Department!
